My dearest Eleanor
Imagine my huge excitement when a card and pressie arrived, addressed in your own fair hand.
I have never been given a "grow your own pole dancer" before so to say this is the pinnacle of one-upmanship for me, is an understatement. How many others have one? Well - there you go.
This tiny little lady comes complete with instructions. They say she will grown up to 60 times her original size when popped in water. So imagine Steve's erm....surprise when he went down to make the tea first thing and she had burst forth from the Pyrex measuring jug.
I always knew you were a VERY classy lady beneath your trimmed tam o'shanter and lilac rinse. Long may you reign - and thank you a million times for giving us such a laugh.
Lots of love xxxxxx

...and thanks to you Jean for giving me such a laugh. I can just imagine a lady bursting forth from the pyrex jug and attacking your husband in the kitchen. You have a great sense of humour. Keep it up. Love Sheila x

I hope poor Steve has recovered from the er ... shock. Such a gentle man, I can imagine your effervescent pole dancer sent him all in a tizz. Just remember Jean if she needs a little trim 'here and there' I am happy to oblige Pleased to see your sense of humour hasn't suffered after recent problems Lyn x

Hi Jean,
You are so welcome! Glad that you enjoyed it. As you know I am very classy, especially after a piece of my home made maderia, so the little pole dancer was just up my street!
Hope that you are feeling a whole lot better but I am so sorry that you are to be 'confined' for such a long time.
Mum died in my arms on the 27th May. The funeral is past so just have to learn how to live life without her.
Lots of love and best wishes,
Eleanor x

Oh Eleanor, so sorry about your mum. It is a very terrible time for you. It will be a great comfort to you in the future to know that you were with her at the end. I do hope you will be feeling better soon.

Eleanor, so very sorry to hear that your Mum has passed away. As Sheila says, it will always be in your thoughts that you was with her at the end, comforting for you in the days to come.
Take care Julia x
